he he, off down south to Glasgow on Monday to see St Vincent in concert for the third time this year. If it’s half as good as London and Manchester….I’ll be gutted; it’d better be just as good ;-)

Good ol’ Spain is missing as usual… Oh well. I will keep the hope that the day will eventually come.

Sure we’re all Europeans Alicia ;-). Get a Squeezijet flight and make a mini-break out of it. From Aberdeen everywhere’s a trek…

Haha! I wish I could! I will do my best, though, and see what happens at the end of the month. :-)

Epic! Saw her in Dublin last night. We got a wave, though we really wanted a hug!

The atmosphere was pretty bad most of the night (the crowds fault), but St. Vincent and Grizzly were epic! Wished they had played a song together though.

thanks

Go for it Alicia! ;-)
Show in Glasgow was great; the stage looked like the final scene from The Life of Brian (without the crucifictees!) lol. From Annie, a new song (I think), a novel contamporaneous recording method and a lovely new version of Actor. And Grizzly Bear were a bit of a revelation; wonderful.

Hi! saw you in Dublin with Grizzly Bear, an incredible night. I have been a fan for couple of years now but never managed to see you live before. All i can say is I am now twice the fan i was, i was blown away. Songs that i didn’t particularly care for took on a whole new life, Save Me From What I Want was just awesome, and your Beatles cover was bloody brilliant too. And all that followed by the Grizzlys. I felt like a lucky man. Hope to see you back in Ireland for your own show soon. All the best.

Last night in Leeds was wonderful. Thanks to you and them Grizzlys… xx

We were in Cologne yesterday – and what a night it was! We really really hope you’ll be back in Germany for a headlining tour soon!!!

Catweazle 20 November 2009, 12:24

Next time bring your band, ‘cause it sounded crap in Brussels, while Grizzly Bear was brilliant. Seeing you again tonight in Paris, and GB ofcourse, still a big fan, just not of your loops, tapes and broken guitar. Next time bring your band !!
