Dear Ms Clark,
My friends and I will be vacationing in New Orleans in early October. We will be seeing you and Mr. Bird and then having brunch at Commander’s Palace the next morning. We would be more than pleased to host you there for a decadent Sunday brunch before you head to Alabama. What say? We currently have a table for six. Let me know.

Any chance Kristin Hersh might stop by to jam with Andrew Bird and Annie Clark? Can you say AWESOME? Sure you can! We’re kinda used to amazing serendipity aka lagniappe here in NOLA (search Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Meters for a fairly recent example). May I also suggest a St. Vincent cover of Cissy Strut? You’ve already proven you can say AWESOME, so why not?
