thank you all for coming to castle clinton. i couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful day to debut lots of new material. thanks for your multicolored sunshades.
you know who has a really sweet blog? el perro del mar. that’s the way a blog should be done.
in norway we met a girl from a town above the arctic circle. she reminded me of the werner herzog film “encounters at the end of the world” about antarctica.
going into the studio in a couple weeks. like going into battle with a dragon. hopefully i’ll emerge triumphant with the head of beast…and some pop classics for the whole family to enjoy.

so nice to hear from you! Can’t wait to hear what you’ll be cooking up in the kitchen…is dragon considered a fish or a lizard….or a bird???
Nice book recommendations. You know, String Theory is yesterday’s news? It’s all about M Theory now…..or its also referred to as master, mathematical, mother, mystery, membrane, magic, or matrix
Theory. It’s quite fascinating.
Hope to finally see you in CA…I missed the last go around.

Fantastic! I just got back from Disneyland which may sound irrelevant but it IS relevant because it means I am certain dragons can be defeated. Good luck and hope to hear (from) you soon xx

Howdy. Give that dragon a good old fashioned slaying.
Is the website from which I bought tickets to see you play in the 229 in London to be believed ? Or will I be getting Fionn Regan only ?

Aww damn Annie… I wanted to go to Castle Clinton, I really did, but I had just seen the free Sonic Youth the week before and couldn’t afford another road trip…
I’ll buy the new album on day one to make up for it.

Funny how the epilogue of Blood Meridian appropriately mirrors “We Put A Pearl In The Ground”, isn’t it?
Because we did.

My god, ‘Blood Meridian’ was one of the toughest books for me to get through. It’s really great but sooooo dense! I believe Ridley Scott owns the rights and will hopefully make a film some day. I think it could be an awesome film because of the lack of dialogue.
